Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the largest of the four Disney Parks in Walt Disney World and is home to some unforgettable experiences. Guests can do everything from embark on a safari to visit the Valley of Moa’ra on Pandora and much more. The Disney Park is also home to some great dining options including four tables service restaurants with unique themes and menus. 1. Tiffins Restaurant

The newest table service restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom also takes the bragging rights as the best option available. Tiffins Restaurant can be found on Discovery Island just before the bridge that leads into Pandora – The World of Avatar and is connected to Nomad Lounge. This table service restaurant serves a menu of international cuisine with an atmosphere inspired by travel and adventure. Each room of Tiffins Restaurant is bursting with beautiful artwork, photographs, artifacts, and sketches that bring various locations across the globe to life. Some of the artwork was even created by Imagineers during research trips! While enjoying the ambiance, Guests can choose delicious lunch or dinner options such as Lobster Macaroni & Cheese, Surf & Turf, Butter Chicken, and Tamarind-braised Short Rib.

2. Yak & Yeti Restaurant

Coming in next on the ranking of table service restaurants in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Yak & Yeti Restaurant. This unique location can be found in the Asia section of the Disney Park and features two floors filled with beautiful artifacts from Southeast Asia. Designed to feel like a local home that was turned into a restaurant, each corner of Yak & Yeti Restaurant is inviting, and some tables even offer great views of the walkways outside. The lunch and dinner menus are expansive and focus on pan-Asian cuisine with wonderful options including Ahi Tuna Nachos, Lo Mein – Combo, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Korean Beef. Yak & Yeti Restaurant is a favorite of many Guests thanks to its beautiful interior and menu that never disappoints.

3. Tusker House Restaurant

Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also beloved by Guests thanks to its massive buffet offerings and character experiences. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Tusker House Restaurant brings the marketplace of Harambe to life with a bustling central courtyard and adjacent rooms decorated with beautiful artwork and artifacts. During each meal, Guests can enjoy mingling with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy who are geared up for their next safari and even lead musical parades every so often. The buffet offerings at Tusker House Restaurant combine American and African-inspired options including Mickey and Simba Waffles, carving stations, pastries, salads, fruits, desserts, and more. Despite coming in at third on the list, Tusker House Restaurant is an amazing option that Guests should not miss out on!

4. Rainforest Café

Coming in last place on the list of table service restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Rainforest Café which can be found at the main entrance to the Disney Park. This exotic restaurant brings Guests into the Amazon where animatronic animals can be found all around, and thunderstorms appear suddenly. The expansive menu focuses on American cuisine and Guests can enjoy dishes including Ozzie’s Omelette, Pot Roast Hash, Jungle Steak and Shrimp, and Anaconda Pasta. While there is nothing particularly wrong with Rainforest Café, there are just so many better options to enjoy while spending time in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
