Underrated Attractions in EPCOT

EPCOT is home to some of the most incredible experiences in Walt Disney World that Guests never miss out on. From Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Frozen Ever After to Spaceship Earth and Soarin’ Around the World, there is no shortage of popular attractions in the Disney Park. There are also a ton of attractions in EPCOT that are overlooked by Guests and considered to be underrated. These attractions and experiences are all wonderful in their own ways and should not be skipped. Let’s check out the underrated attractions of EPCOT that shouldn’t be missed on any visit!

Awesome Planet

The Land Pavilion is home to favorite attractions Living with the Land and Soarin’ Around the World as well as an underrated film. Awesome Planet brings Guests into a special effects theater for a ten-minute film that shares the importance of conservation. Created with the Disney Conservation Fund, Awesome Planet features stunning videos from around the world to showcase the beauty of the planet and should not be missed!

The Seas with Nemo and Friends

Next to The Land Pavilion is The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion which is home to an attraction of the same name. This underrated attraction brings characters from the Pixar favorite Finding Nemo to life as Guests travel into the sea to help search for Nemo. The end of the attraction is an unforgettable moment where characters are animated with actual aquarium tanks behind them making them look as though they are swimming with real ocean life.

Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival

Guests love to enjoy a ride on Journey into Imagination with Figment every time they visit EPCOT, but the Imagination Pavilion is also home to an underrated attraction. The Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival brings a series of fun shorts to life in 4D by using 3D technology and in-theater effects to make Guests feel as though they are fully immersed in the stories. At eighteen minutes long, the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival is a great way to relax and enjoy some air conditioning in EPCOT.

Reflections of China

The China Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase features a beautiful Circle-Vision 360 film that should not be missed. Reflections of China is a twelve-minute film narrated by Li Bai, a Tang Dynasty poet, that showcases the beauty and diversity of China. Guests are literally surrounded by massive screens that offer sweeping views of the Great Wall of China, Yangtze River, Shanghai, Sea of Clouds, and more.

Impressions de France

Like Reflections of China, Impressions de France is a beautiful film that runs continuously in the France Pavilion. Presented in the Palais du Cinema, Impressions de France brings Guests on a journey through the country showcasing the diverse culture and rich history found there. Set to the music of classic French composers, the film features beautiful shots of Paris, Normandy, Cannes, Versailles, and more. It’s a wonderful way to take a break from World Showcase and should not be missed!

Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360

The final underrated attraction in EPCOT is another Circle-Vision 360 film found in the Canada Pavilion. Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 does just what its name implies- takes Guests on a tour far and wide across the country to show the wonderful people, culture, and scenery. With incredible imagery, immersive technology, and a narration by Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy, Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 is an underrated attraction in EPCOT that deserves a visit!
